Can I connect AquaLab to my computer?
Yes. Series 3 models are shipped with a standard RS-232 cable that can be used with your computer’s terminal program or with our aqualink program. With a standard terminal program, every time your AquaLab makes a reading, the water activity, sample temperature, and time taken for the reading will be displayed on your computer screen. With AquaLink, the same information is recorded, along with a real-time graph and fields for comments and sample names. Older AquaLab models (CX-1 and CX-2) can also be used with AquaLink, however they use a custom interface cable that must be procured from Decagon.
