This is NOT recommended. Damage to the appliance or Solar Stik™ could result from a direct connection. The solar panels are an UNREGULATED DC power supply which has varying voltage outputs, and can damage an appliance if the voltage is higher or lower than the acceptable voltage input. The Solar Stik™ is designed to work in conjunction with a 12 or 24 Volt battery bank only.
