i am in eighth grade right now and taking algebra right now we did slope only like a month ago so i am pretty sure the answer is right i also used my book to help get the correct answer so i am almost positive it is right hopefully this will help i would right out all the steps but the computer keyboard cant make fractions or exponents Find the slopes of the line containing the points (-3,-5) and (-1,-1) let (-3,-5) equal (x1,y1) let (-1,-1) equal (x2,y2) M= y2-y1M=-1- (-5)M= 4which equals 2 X2-x1 -1-(-3) 2 You know the slope (2) and two points. Choose one set of points and find the y-intercept. I chose (-1,-1).
