According to Digi, Series 2 XBee with the ZB Pro firmware is compatible with devices from other manufacturers that support the “ZigBee Feature Set” or “ZigBee PRO Feature Set”. Keep in mind that this software requires a Digi XBee (Series 2) connected to the serial port.
