Can I come and check out AR books I want for my fisrt grader?
Yes you can but we don’t recommend it. We have found over the years that letting the students choose the book they want to read will be more successful. There is no need to put any pressure on students at this age to take AR tests. Please remember this is a reading enhancement program and assessment tool. AR is NOT the reading curriculum at Trinity. Ultimately we want our children to LOVE to read and putting pressure on them to TAKE AR TESTS will make them HATE reading. Each teacher handles AR in their classroom the way it works best for their students.
