Can i combine yoga and physical exercises?
Physical exercise and yogasana are two different concepts.(yogasana is a part of 8 stages of Patanjali yoga sutra) Yogasana relaxes the body and mind. Physical exercise build up muscles. Yogasana has specific breath control instructions to be followed. Physical exercise has no such control. Yogasana will make your inner mind and soul stronger.Body flexible. Physical exercise does not care about mind. Makes the body rigid and gives a false sense of being strong. Better to stop with Yogasana.Not to mingle both.
