I would suggest that if you are seeking Housing Association property to all move into your parents in the short term…this way you will be over crowded and the local authority will have no choice but to find you housing together. You being away from your family will also score high points. As far as I know,,,and you will have to check this on the website, as a single person I believe you have to be over 25 to claim working tax credits for yourself.However I also believe there are other options if you are doing an apprenticeship etc etc.
