Can I claim legal, professional and subscription fees as an expense?
Fees for preparing your company accounts are allowable. Certain legal fees can be claimed such as those incurred in recovering debts, defending your business etc. For subscription fees, HMRC publishes a list of approved professional and trade associations. If your association is on this list, then you can claim the fees as an expense.
