You should have not resigned. Your employeer may have said there is no job anymore but he is responsible to ensure that you are offered another job in his employeement or made redundant by him He cannot sack you unless you have done something wrong. Its sounds like you resigned in haste. I sugest you go to the citizen advice for find a soliciter as this seems to easy for your employeer to get ride of you. If he made you redundant he would have has to pay you redundancy and the government wold also possible contribute to this. What has happended is unjust and I think you need to investigate this on the fact that you resigned probably in a wrong sense of mind.
