Not yet. CO2 emissions from electricity generation varies continuously throughout the day, but for now DEFRA uses an annual average to calculate the carbon impact of electricity consumption. The emissions saved by Flexitricity are actually saved at large power stations, and double counting of carbon credits must be avoided. However, the cost of the CO2 and fuel saved in large power stations is one of the factors that drives the value of flexible operation, and is included in the revenue you receive for working with Flexitricity.
