Can I claim back any expenses incurred on my private medical insurance (BUPA, AXA, Norwich Union etc)?
Unfortunately, you will not be able to claim your expenses off your private medical insurance policy, as most require treatment to be carried out by a chartered practitioner. As a Sports Rehabilitator, I am not a chartered practitioner however; BASRaT (professional body of Sports Rehabilitators) is striving hard to gain state regulation and if they are successful it maybe possible to claim expenses in the future.
