Unfortunately, you will not be able to claim your expenses off your private medical insurance policy, as most require treatment to be carried out by a chartered practitioner. As a Sports Rehabilitator, I am not a chartered practitioner however; BASRaT (professional body of Sports Rehabilitators) is striving hard to gain state regulation and if they are successful it maybe possible to claim expenses in the future.
