Can I choose to raise the price of my book beyond Word Ventures minimum retail price?
Yes. Unlike our competitors, we believe the best person to decide the price of your book is you. There is a minimum retail price for every book, depending on it size, page-length, cover-type, and whether or not it includes color. This is to ensure that every sale of your book is profitable and results in a royalty for you. But you are free to raise this minimum retail price to whatever you want. You are also free, at any time, to change the retail price of your book via your MyVentures author account. There is a small fee for doing so, and it will take one-eight weeks for your new pricing to permeate to all distribution channel partners.
