Can I choose a default interface language for FirstSearch?
English is the default interface language and you cannot change it in the administrative module. However, users can select the French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, (traditional) Chinese or (simplified) Chinese interface on the FirstSearch logon screen or at the bottom of any FirstSearch screen. Also, you can specify the Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, (traditional) Chinese or (simplified) Chinese interface in links to FirstSearch that you add on your library’s Web pages using IP-address recognition or WebScript automatic logon scripting. Or, you can provide a link to the Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, (traditional) Chinese or (simplified) Chinese FirstSearch logon screen. FirstSearch will pick up the default language that you specify in your browser and display that language for users accessing FirstSearch via IP address recognition.
