Can I check the status of my refund even if I filed on paper, telefile or electronically?
Yes, go to iFile home page or the home page of the Virginia Department of Taxation web site and click on the Refund Status button. You will be required to enter your social security number and expected tax refund to complete the process. The Check Refund Status is available for all 2000 – 2004 individual income tax returns. You do not have to file your return on iFile in order to check your refund status.
