Can I charge my passengers if I carshare and if so, how much?
Yes you can, as long as you do not make a profit from the charge. Alternatively you can take it in turns to drive your own cars so that the costs will be equally shared. We suggest that drivers and passengers split the cost of petrol. Please note that drivers should not make a profit from carsharing as this can invalidate their insurance.
