Can I change the way MetroNavigator routes my trip (fastest/shortest/simplest)?

Yes. From the main screen, select Options (Right Soft Key) and then Preferences. Select Navigation Preferences, then Trip Settings, then Route Type. Use the Rocker Key to select from “Fastest” (default) “Shortest” or “Simplest”, and press OK to save the setting.
