Yes from the main Gokivo Navigator screen, select Menu ‘BlackBerry Key’ and then Preferences. Select ‘Navigation’. Then scroll right on the trackball on ‘Trip Settings’, then scroll right on the trackball on ‘Route Type’. Use the Track Ball to select from ‘Fastest’ (default) ‘Shortest’ or ‘Simplest’, and press OK to save the setting. ‘Fastest’ routes are selected based on estimated travel time. They are faster to drive but can be longer in distance. “Shortest” routes are selected based on total travel distance. They can take longer to traverse due to speed limits. “Simplest” routes contain the fewest possible turns but may take longer to drive and may be longer in distance than other route options.
