Changing the location of the LocalFileRepository would affect the operation of some workflows. The only way to ensure workflows will continue to work after changing the path is to have all files in both new and old locations, which seems redundant. If you really want to change its path, you can either run DCMUpdate or update data in the database directly. However, such a change is not recommended. If you want to change the default location for patch download, you can follow the steps in the “Changing the default location for patch download” in the information center.
