Can I cancel the Sea Dragon keyword during a swoop attack in order to prevent it from damaging my ship?
When a swoop attack is made, the die is rolled and damage is done before placing the sea dragon next to the target. If it began the swoop attack more than S away from the target ship, that ship cannot cancel the Sea Dragon keyword until after the attack has been resolved. Ships or crew may cancel the attack if they are within S of the sea dragon when the swoop attack is declared.
