Can I cancel the policy mid term?

A – On 3 month policies there is no return premium if you cancel mid-term. In the event of 6 and 12 month policies being cancelled mid-term, the insurers reserve the right to charge “short term” rates which means that return premiums will be less than pro rata. You should however remember that Professional Indemnity is on a claims made basis which means all cover ceases immediately the policy is cancelled.

A – Cover is arranged on a minimum and deposit basis. This means you may cancel the policy up to 14 days after you have bought cover and enjoy a full refund of premium. If you cancel cover after this period, there is no refund of premium. Please note that should you carry out an inspection, assessment or consultation in between buying and cancelling this policy then no refund will be granted, whether the cancellation request is within 14 days or not.
