Can I cancel and get a refund on a Honda Care Extended Warranty plan?
You certainly have the right to cancel the warranty. However..but.,there is always that “but” if the warranty is included in your financing and in the contract that you signed and included in your monthly payment for the car, you will not get a cash refund. When you cancel the warranty, Honda Credit, or wherever the vehicle is financed will take the cancellation amount and apply it to the end of your loan. If, however you paid separately, and paid cash for the warranty, then you will get the refund in cash. But I read your question as it is in your financing agreement since you talked about a monthly cost of the plan, and they just added it to your monthly payments. Even if you had a large down payment, doesn’t mean you paid cash for the warranty. It would have to be a separate cash/check purchase to get your money back.
