In Cook County, if you dial 9-1-1 from a cell phone, the call will be routed to the nearest police department to your location. That call will be re-routed to a Schiller Park dispatcher, if necessary. The Schiller Park Police will eventually get the call, although it may take an extra minute or two because of the call transfer.
