Can I call my grandmother (uncle, friend, etc.) using netYAK?
How does netYAK work? When an Internet user “clicks” on the netYAK Call Button, the netYAK software places a call over the Internet into the netYAK network that bridges the call from the Internet into the local public telephone system. Using a soundcard, microphone and speakers, the Internet user is able to talk to the Internet web site representative who uses an ordinary telephone. The netYAK software that is in the Internet user s PC and runs the netYAK network is patent pending. Why is there a need for the netYAK service? Internet web sites are like stores without sales people or customer service centers without personal service. Though web sites are designed to function without human interaction, research shows that Internet users want human interaction. Sales and customer satisfaction will increase if Internet users are provided with human interaction. Does an Internet user have to download the netYAK software?
