Can I buy The Hanging Gardens of Brooklyn produce in a store or Farmers Market?
The delivery CSA is our main focus for 2008. Currently, we have plans for the near future to sell our wares in Brooklyn area Farmers’ Markets. This is a great option for customers and farmers to meet face to face and we are excited about the prospect of setting up shop in the open air. We are also looking into distributing wholesale to select local organic markets and co-op buying groups. Q: The farm: What employment opportunities are available at The HGBK? Where is the farm located? A: Currently we do not have any openings for employment. As our business grows, we happily anticipate augmenting our HGBK family with part-time and full-time seasonal employees. In addition, we look forward to supporting community education programs in the areas of healthy eating and cooking, recycling and environmental conservation, as well as paid internships in cooperation with area schools.
