Can I buy a SelectSSL Intranet Certificate for more than 3 years?

No, you can only obtain a certificate for 1 year, 2 years or a maximum of 3 years. SelectSSL Intranet Certificates are valid for a defined period from the date of issue, after which time they expire and have to be renewed. SelectSSL Intranet Certificates expire after 1, 2 or 3 years, depending on the validity period of the product type that you choose. This ensures that your exposure is limited in the case of key loss, company or employee changes. Your Certificate can be renewed up to 90 days prior to the expiration date. We will send notification emails to your Technical Contact 4 weeks prior to your Certificate’s expiry date. This allows you to request your Renewal Certificate and prevents any warnings for your users once your existing Certificate expires. At renewal times, if any information has changed, such as your state or locality, you will need to generate a new CSR, and provide new documentation to verify the changes. Otherwise, you do not need to create a new CSR. sslONE Corp
