Can I buy a hard drive ready loaded with Karaoke tracks?
Not legally is the answer. You can convert the music you own to a digital format for use on a laptop or hard drive, but you must retain the original discs & get permission from the Karaoke manufacturers (as they are not PRS/MCPS recordings). As it is unlikely the manufacturers would give permission, if you were offered a hard drive full of Karaoke tracks then it must be illegally loaded with the content. If you used one in public you would be breaking the law & you would run the risk of having your equipment confiscated, plus you could be prosecuted.
