Can I burn a created *.arc file on CD/DVD and then write the R-Drive Image startup version on this disc, too?

Yes, you can. When you select the Create an image action and choose a DVD drive as the destination, then you will see on the 5th step an option to include R-Drive Image Boot to this DVD.
