It would work for only 1 time extension. Ukraine only allows you 90 days of entry without a visa every 180 days. So, you would not get 120 days this way – only 90. If you have a visa, then they already know you are living there and you would pay customs. The other thing to consider is that the border patrol and customs are not stupid. They can clearly see that you exited and returned the same day (or within a few days) and would know you were avoiding taxes. So, the reality is… no, you will not get away with this. And, customs duty on a car is 21% of the value, as determined by customs. You also need to bring the car into European compliance, which costs even more. Add to that the cost of shipping it there, compared to buying a new Toyota for $14,000… it’s not worth it. Oh, and the fuels are not formulated for use in cars certified in the US… it can be detrimental to the emissions system of the car.
