Can I bring fruit into the United States from another country for personal use (consumption)?
You may bring admissible, inspected fruits for personal use (consumption). However, you must declare all foodstuff on the Customs Declaration form and undergo a Customs Border Protection-Agriculture baggage inspection. Failure to declare fruit or any other food product could be subject to a fine of $300 – $1,000. Non-admissible items will be seized.
