Can I bring flowers, candy, or a gift to someone admitted on the inpatient unit?

Items that can be given to a person admitted to our unit are limited due to our need to protect and care for not only the person you are visiting, but everyone who is receiving inpatient care. A visitor is allowed to bring three days of clothing for a client. All items are subject to inspection.
