You can bring all that you want but you (each person over 19) are allowed duty free only 1.5 litres of wine, OR 1 case of beer OR 1.14 litres of spirits. As a practical matter as long as you declare it Canada Customs will probably not charge duty on an extra case of beer or another bottle of wine but because alcohol taxes are much higher in Canada one does not get the latitude that is given by American customs. However, concerning wine: for heavens’ sake you will only be a short drive away from the Niagara VQA (that’s the Canadian term for A.O.C. (France)or D.O.C.G. (Italy)) Niagara Peninsula wine growing area. Visit some wineries, do tastings and buy some bottles of what you like. Also, the Ontario alcohol monopoly stores (the L.C.B.O.) stock selections of some of the great VQA wines VQA wines from B.C. – some of them (pinot gris among them) being equal to the best in the world but almost impossible to find yet (due to low production) in the USA (and then only at exhorbitant prices) –
