Can I bring a younger/older sibling with me to lapsit storytime?
We prefer that only children of the age listed for the storytime attend to make this a special time for that child. However, if a parent must bring a sibling into a lapsit storytime in order to attend, we understand. Parents should make older siblings aware of expectations during the storytime and be prepared to leave with both children if either child becomes disruptive. We hope you can also plan for older siblings to attend a storytime for their own age group to provide a well-rounded library experience. Family Storytimes for all ages are offered weekly for anyone who wishes to bring children of a wider age range to one all-inclusive storytime.
