Your issue is that the 35w lamps in your fixtures do not seem bright enough to you and you want to increase them to 50w each…. 1: The fixtures are probably not rated for 50w lamps 2: I would suspect that your voltage to the existing 35w lamps is below tolerances of 10.75 volts. This could be a function of wire guage and wire run from the transformer. Try running a new 12/2 lighting wire to one or two of the fixtures and see if their brightness increases dramatically. 3: The 50W MR16 lamp uses 30% more electricity then a 35W lamp and only produces 11% more light output. Read some lamp photometric tables and you can confirm this.
