Can I breed my female Jack Russell with a Miniature Schnauzer?
To be honest I wouldnt breed unless you have had both dogs checked for genetic defects and you have homes for all the puppies lined up. It really isnt as easy as you think and the shelters are overflowing and putting down dogs all the time because no one wants them. When my cousin was getting a dog she made the mistake of going to a woman who was a first time breeder and hadnt had the genetic testing done. The puppies came out disfigured beyond belief and none lived. None had all their legs and the mother died giving birth. The poor woman was devastated, it wasnt her fault she just didnt know. Its best to leave breeding to the professionals and get your dog spayed. Smaller dogs tend to have more difficult births than larger ones too so its really not advisable. If you are determined then speak to your vet and they will see you right about the best way to go about it.
