Can i bottle feed and breast feed my baby?

you can but it may upset your babys stomach as breast milk is the easiest to digest and least likely to cause spitting up, etc. also you run the risk of lessening your supply when you give a bottle, and also you run a risk of nipple confusion causing your baby to reject the breast or pick up an improper latch after having bottles. if you do choose to breast and formula feed I would suggest a) give the bottle as little as possible b) use a slow flow nipple shaped most closely to your breast. c) wait as long as possible to give the first bottle, my hospital and doctor recommended 3 weeks but I waited a little longer,,, your baby needs to have a good handle on breast feeding first…. also be prepared for if your baby rejects the bottle completely, when you do give the bottle have a little milk on the nipple to help him/her take it., try giving your baby a bottle before you actually NEED to ((at home)) to make sure they will take it. If baby will not take the bottle from YOU try having so
