Can I borrow books from libraries outside the Ku-ring-gai area?

Yes. No Library has every book which has ever been published, so Ku-ring-gai Library provides an Inter-Library Loan service to assist members to read material that is not available in our library. There is a charge of $5.80 per request (non refundable). Alternatively, most public libraries will allow you to join as a reciprocal member if you would prefer to go in person to borrow an item. If the item is only available through a University or Special Library, an extra fee of $8.20 will apply – payable on collection.
