Can I book the cruise directly with Holland America/through a third-party travel site/from a shady guy in a van in a back alley, and just purchase the entertainment pass through you guys?
Because you’re web savvy, it’s possible that you could find someone offering this cruise for less than the prices listed on Holland America’s website. And annoyingly, from time to time Holland America will offer special deals on this cruise that we don’t have access to, so that we look like jerks during those times. But you can only see the shows if you buy the entertainment pass, and you can only by the entertainment pass if you book the cruise through us, that’s just the way it works. (Chalk it up under “the perils of group travel.”) Plus, the more bookings our group bring in, the easier it will be for us to commandeer rooms and spaces on the ship for cool stuff and activities.
