Can I bond the Ethernet connections of an HP Oracle Database Machine?

Yes you can remove the existing administration connection (eth0) that by default connects the database node (DL360) to the built-in Procurve Ethernet switch and bond it with the spare eth1 port on the database node. Both database server Ethernet connections will then use external switches and not the Procurve switch in the rack. The built-in Procurve switch should remain reserved for administration purposes.
