Can I block the lunch ordering for school close, field trips, etc?
Yes. To specify school close days, click the “Calendar” menu. Next to the date is the open and close status. Click on it to make changes. If lunch is not served due to other reasons: e.g. field trips, etc. It is more appropriate to use the “Disable Lunch Service” function for that day. • Click the “Lunch Orders” menu. • Then click the month link to view the lunch order calendar. • Next to each date, a or image is displayed which indicates whether lunch is served for that day or not. • Click on the image to disable (or enable) lunch service for the day. For a date in which the school is closed or lunch service is disabled: • If that date is in the future, no lunch orders can be placed and all previously placed orders will be automatically canceled. • If that date was in the past, all lunch orders placed will be automatically nullified: both guardians and serving restaurant accounts will be automatically adjusted to reflect the changes.
