You can become an art teacher. You need a 4 year college degree usually a BSED in Art Education. 1/4th of your classes are in education, 1/4th in art education, 1/4th in art, the rest are in other requirements or optional classes. Most colleges require a class in how to teach or identify reading problems, and one in math (a class in how to use a calculator will suffice). The rest of the classes are your choice, usually you take more art classes. You also need to student teach and have an FBI background and fingerprint check and swear you are not a terrorist. A warning, there are few openings to teach art. They and the music teachers are the ones laid off first.
