Can I be put in touch with my personal tutor or project supervisor before the course starts so that I can start planning my study programme or my project in advance?
No. Personal tutors are allocated during the orientation period. Projects begin to be discussed early in Term 2 and supervisors can be selected by the student him/herself, with the agreement of the member of staff concerned. Supervisors are allocated as necessary if these private arrangements have not been made. Your project supervisor is usually the same person as your personal tutor, although they need not be.
