Can I be evicted for reporting suspected child abuse?

Unless you are a doctor or nurse or teacher, you aren’t mandated by law to report child abuse. If I had been you, I would have reported what I know to Crime Stoppers as that way you remain completely anonymous. All you can do now is ask CAS to not expose you and then deny it when asked. I would plan on moving though as if CAS rules that there was no abuse and/or the landlord figures out you did the reporting, your landlord is going to make your life miserable for you. As for evicting you, all she has to do is say she is moving in a family member (her boyfriend will do) and you will have to move (assuming you have no lease) anyway so I doubt she will go to the bother of evicting you. If she does though, you will need a lawyer. Good luck!
