Can I audition by videotape or dvd?
We can only accept taped auditions for the Summer Workshop. That said, please make sure the quality of the recording is good. If we cannot hear you or see you well, we will be unable to make an informed decision on your admission. Applicants for the Two Year Workshops must audition in person either in New York or at one of our national audition cities. Admission to the Two Year Workshops is highly selective. We are better able to make a decision on your admission by seeing your work in person and getting to know you through the interview. • How long will it take for me to find out if I am accepted? Only after you have completed your audition and we have recieved all your application materials can we make a decision on your admission. This usually takes anywhere from a week to a month or more depending on where we are in the audition process.
