Yes, you can assign tone for individual contacts. Select Menu -> Contacts -> Names -> Options-> Edit -> Add Detail -> Multimedia -> Tone -> Open Gallery-> Choose the tone. You can assign tone for groups. Select Menu-> Contacts -> Groups -> Add -> Group tone -> Save.
