Can I assign expired USB keys to a new/extended license?

Yes, you can assign expired USB keys to be used with a new or extended license if you are a License Controller and the key is assigned to your group. Assign the key – when your new/extended license is available, log in to the website, and click on “Licenses” from the My Account tab. Click on “Assign keys” under the appropriate license and choose the serial number of your key(s). Click on “Assign selected keys to this license” to finish. Once the license is active and you have assigned the key to the license, you will need to reprogram the key. Reprogram the key – go to the Key Reprogramming instructions. If you received the USB key from someone else and the USB key is not associated with your group, please contact us and let us know the serial number and we will move it to your group. Please wait to order your license until we notify you that we have moved the key. Note that when you place the order, leave “New keys” as 0, so that we do not ship you a key.
