Can I ask my GP for advice on taking illegal Anabolic Steroids?
I think it would be a good idea, your doctor may not refer you to a local drug dealer or anything but as I assume you intend on using this to build muscle then they will recommend a drug of some sort which is just as effective but with less risk and legal. I don’t think your G.P is allowed to say anything other than it’s illegal, it will make this happen and desease you with that, but worth the discussion anyways, they can’t stop you.
I do not know but I would suggest he/she will tell you that,just like other illegal substances,there is no safe limit.Ask for a referral to a psychological professional to discuss why you find it necessary to take them.There is no glory in being the best if you have not earned it by yourself-Dwain Chambers for example!….
He will tell you not to do it. He may (or may not) tell you about the nasty effects they can have on your body and will probably point out that since they are illegal you have no control over their content. many of the ones on sale are ‘fake’ and may not contain the quantities of drugs which they claim and may also contain harmful substances. If you are foolish enough to take them then do not lie if a doctor asks you about them before he treats an injury or prescribes some other drugs because you could get a nasty interaction and end up damaging yourself even more.
