Can I apply to the Huntsman Program with a different language other than the 11 “target languages”?
In order to apply to the Huntsman Program, you need to demonstrate proficiency in one of our 11 target languages. The only exception to this is Portuguese. Native or highly advanced Spanish speakers may apply to the Program as Portuguese targets, even if they have not previously studied the language. Penn offers a “Portuguese for Spanish Speakers” course, which allows students to pick up the language more quickly than they would otherwise be able to.
