Can I apply for support for coursework not yielding an academic degree?
To qualify for tuition reimbursement under this program, a staff member must take courses for credit and be enrolled in a degree or certification program from an accredited institution. Only degree or certification programs from schools or institutions that meet standards established by a nationally recognized accrediting institutions, associations, or agencies will be considered. Does coursework have to be job-related or related to a specific organizational need? Coursework should be job-related or related to an organizational need except for required or elective courses taken to complete the requirements for associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degrees. Will I be supported for full-time enrollment? There are no restrictions on enrollment as long as it does not interfere with your appointment fraction and work schedule as agreed upon by the unit supervisor.
