Can I apply for an absentee ballot for my child away at college if s/he is registered to vote here at home?
A near relative (spouse, brother, sister, parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, stepparent or stepchild) of the registered voter can request absentee ballots for the voter. The ballots must be mailed from the Board of Elections office to the voter. The voter must vote and sign their ballot before returning to our office.

The voter must vote their ballot and complete their application envelope, according to instructions provided, before returning it to our office.
