Can I apply for a GAP for my group (dance or theater company, gallery cooperative, etc.)?
Artist Trust’s mission is to serve individual artists. The application and all application materials must be submitted by an individual, to ultimately benefit an individual’s artmaking. Each individual artist working in a group may apply for a GAP unless they are an “Artist Team” (see the first page of the application guidelines). For example: A band cannot apply, but each musician that makes up the band may apply – i.e. guitarist, bassist, drummer etc…Each artist will be evaluated on the merit of their own work.
